At the northernmost tip of the Leelanau Peninsula, Northern Michigan's agricultural hub, Gary Frederickson grows apricots for us in his centennial hillside orchard. We hand-pit these rosy-cheeked beauties in our kitchen and then purée the fruit for a velvety-smooth butter that pairs beautifully with fresh goat cheese and is perfect for baking.
