- 1. Place the butter and maple syrup in a sauce pot over medium high heat. Bring the syrup to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for a minute or two. Add the pecans to the pot and stir to coat the nuts in syrup. Continue cooking the mixture for about three more minutes. Transfer the pecans to a parchment lined baking sheet and spread into a single layer. Place the nuts into a 350 degree oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the nuts are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- 2. Place two scoops of vanilla ice cream into each serving dish. Scatter a handful of candied pecans over the ice cream and douse with Whiskey Maple.
